A really great idea esp. the groove cut into the block! That would change the dynamics of how the fur radiates from the two layers of spun thread. Wow, you really got us thinking.....

Ruard, Excellent, excellent presentation! The winging technique is just super! I have tackled Glanros wings before on different patterns especially with starling hackles (they seem to work and look pretty good at the end) but your pattern tied here is great!
