Re: BWO

Bad camera or not, it looks amazing. Thank you for sharing the recipe with us because I plan on stealing this pattern
and using it for the creeks I fish.

Piscatorial perfection.

Re: Mcphails Micro-Glint

I too prefer the black hooks. Like these fashion designers say, black goes with everything, and it shows it in the photo. As for hook size with Firehole, I think they have maybe two styles that go smaller than a 20, but don't quote me on that. I don't like the fact that Firehole's hooks are larger t...

Your pattern would produce just as well. Well done! I think the Internet has made so many guys wanting to out tie ...

Re: Some "New to Me" Hooks to Try

That's the problem with Partridge: proportions. Actually, it isn't Partridges' fault; obviously , it's mine. Just when I get a pattern figured out... Nice review, T. Mike I have to admit that when it comes to proportions, Partridge really threw a curve ball at me at first. But I had to adjust my ty...

Re: Some "New to Me" Hooks to Try

Ken, this is only my opinion based on my own experience, so take this with a grain of salt please. I am a fan of Partridge hooks. In fact, it's all I buy anymore. I'm not saying all other brands are terrible, no sir, there are many great hook brands out there, Fulling Mill, Tiemco, Mustad are just a...
