Re: Honey dun
Personally, I would be thrilled to receive your fly in a swap! Also, your photography skills make me green with envy and how imaginative to stick the fly in the wax.

Debutante
I saw this pattern in the Summer 2022 issue of Fly Tyer magazine. The article on Flies of Cody Country starts on page 46 and the fly is pictured on page 52, with other flies for stillwater fishing. Our Sep trip this year will take us to Saratoga and Cody, WY, so I thought I would tie a few to try as...

Re: Peacock & Black
Like several others who have commented, I too had to copy this fly. Hope to field test it when we go to WY next month.
Hackle is Collins hen neck. I didn't twist the peacock with the thread; I just ribbed the peacock with a long tag of the Pearsall's.

Re: Lisenring's March brown
I'm certain your fly will be successful. I recently tried it too. Twisting the pheasant tail and the thread plus the wire rib sure provides durability. It worked for me in late Apr, even though the March Brown hatch was over.

Two words come to mind: Museum Quality!
What thread did you use for the head and what did you coat it with to get that glow?
Thanks- Ken

Re: March Brown from the John Shaner fly wallet
To paraphrase a famous Oklahoman, "I never met a March Brown I didn't like"!
Can someone add a link to the Shaner Fly Wallet post mentioned by T-12?
Thanks- Ken
