Hans, I will definitely share it at the gathering at Campfire in June , you going to come so you can see it?
As for sharing it on the internet, I have to sort that out with Lance and the Boise club.
The format looks like a film ( Super 8?)that was recorded to video.

Pete Hidy Video
At the Idaho Falls Tying Expo one of our members, Duane Marler, gave me a video of Pete tying. There is no sound and the focus and lighting are not the best but... you can see him tie a flymph and use the dubbing block.
I think it's pretty cool.

Re: New Hackle Site
When I size grade the Capes or saddles I look for a good quantity of feathers before I will say it ties 6, 8 ,10, 12...... on the largest sizes and the same holds true for the smaller sizes . The colors are pretty close from the camera (Cannon EOS Rebel T2i) the monitor can change the color. I was j...

New Hackle Site
For those who may be interested. The Campfire Lodge website now has a online shop. I think it might be unique in that you can see a hi res photo of the cape or saddle that is for sale. Many, many hours have gone into this site and we have finally achieved a long held goal. At the moment it is dry fl...

Re: Tim's Bitch Creek Nymph
It's a nymph. Weighted or unwieghted. Stoneflies hatch out of the water. Looks like a great fly out these parts.

Re: Tutorials
Hi Hank + all, I would imagine that the only discussions on the tutorials would be on the actual given tutorial post. Chronomids should already be covered and included in Nymphs as well as wingless wets. After looking around deeper into the forum and what do you know there is a section that has tuto...

Re: Tutorials
Duly noted and registered Hans. Old Hat, I can understand. Too many topics leads to too much clutter. I think that tutorials and Articles need to be organized for easier access. We have some excellent stuff posted on the site that is buried granted what is to say it wouldn't get buried under a new t...

Duly noted Hans....and I can't disagree with your position.
Would you agree and abide with a democratic solution?

Re: Golden Pheasant Tail Nymph
Excellent post William. While I personally prefer using and tying with traditional natural materials there is no denying of new materials and their fish catching abilities. I am slow to move to this position and it has been changed because of the fishermen and tyers that come through my shop. The ny...

Old Hat posted an outstanding photo on our new Nymph forum. In the discussion Carl states that he wrote an article that was to be published elsewhere on line and is considering having the the unpublished portions posted here. This leads to the question do we want to have a Article/Tutorial section o...
