Oh, but I know some hungry Crappie that will suck up anything of a fl.chartreuse and black! Really a sweet looking fly! Teamed with a hot orange and black and there would be nothing else needed!

And I thought I was alone.... Wow! It seems my story starts off much like some have said... But there was a time where I started sneaking in extra hackle. It wasn't like just adding a rap.... no.. I got creative... I started rapping the traditional 1 1/2 to 2 raps, with a properly sized feather.... ...

The Fly does catch! Its caught all who has posted! :lol: Really though what intrigues me most is how that color causes the segmentation of the feather to "pop"!!

Was always impressed with the "fineness" of that fly! LOL that's why I was so excited when he made not of a "Pop" fly... now realizing it was the Pop-Top Flies he noted.... Both are great examples of great tying...
