Re: Prince nymph my version... Photo heavy sorry :(

Karsten, you are a true artist. What a masterful tie
I tied up a half dozen GRHE today under the influence of your previous post. Now, seeing your Prince Nymph, a pattern I have eschewed for years... I can only gasp! I am in awe! Dark chocolate biots?! Cobblers waxed head?!
Cheers,

Re: Link to Endrick Spider SBS.

There's no question that pheasant tail fibers make for an effective body. I often sit at the vise with no particular pattern in mind and start with pheasant tail body, after that, almost any combination of materials for tail, hackle, thorax, rib seems to produce. Also, very nice PT, ThirdMeadow, both...

Re: So you thought furnace was simple?

Good score on the price of that book, Stefan. You now have only 128 more pages to share with us. :D
Seriously, thanks for those five pages. I have always wondered about the Furnace, Coch y Bonddhu, Greenwell's distinctions, and if they really mattered.
Cheers, min vän!

Re: A Black Gnat - soggy

Thanks for the positive comments on The Fly Shop's hooks, Will. That thread, though, doesn't look like my Pearsalls claret - more like scarlet.
