Very interesting to see how the different fish were 100% selective to a certain pattern. I wonder if that result would change if you reversed the positions of the flies?

Does anyone know why Nemes chose to wind the partridge feather around the hook and then pull all the fibers up on top instead of just tying it in on the top to start (like a rolled wet fly wing) or just leave them wound around the hook, like most other flies that have a partridge h...

Ray, I thought the body would be darker since it uses a crow feather. When you look at the feather, it looks "black"; however, when you separate 3 fibers and wrap them around the hook, it's more of a "Gray Gnat". Perhaps that is why he lists the body material as black silk or 2-3...
