I've heard of spinning the thread as you are touch dubbing, I believe its the same principle.

I really like the looks of those, there is an elegance to woodcock.

That's a nice one to have in the arsenal.

Sorry, the CDC is tied in by the tip and wound toward the eye, same with the Coot.

Thank you, I just wrap a couple of turns of CDC, then the Coot in front of that,it's a real simple fly to tie.
