Re: Welcome to the discussion forum Nymphs!
Funny isn't it: Dave Whitlocks Red Fox Squirrel Hair Nymph. By far the best producing nymph I've fished in my pocket water rivers. My fly box is filled with them in different sizes from 18 to 12. Also on my list is PHT, RGH, Cal Birds Birdsnest and Frenchies in all colors.

Re: Why Use Silk Thread?
Having been on this forum for a few years I have tried both synthetic and silk. But I have a question: Why not tie with floss, which comes in many colors and has a 'shine' to it's skin. I know floss is much thicker, but if they were the same... what of it? I hope there will be a few Clark Blocks in ...

Seat of knowledge
This forum seems to be the apex of 'know.' So I'm asking: Where can I find the best price on tungsten beads? I realize it is off the beam of flymphing, but I'm tying up a batch of lance Egan flies for the first Casting for Recover fly boxes. Lord knows I have enough flymphs and soft hackles thanks t...

Re: Flymph Forum Member Pattern Reference Links
I look at Mark R's artistic flies and wonder how he did it? Just breathtakingly beautiful. All of them so professionally tied, a silent perfection of feather and thread. And to think I'll be rubbing elbows with some of these folks next June in Yellowstone. Wow!

Sounds like Sophia Loren… Every seemed to be out of proportion; nose, lips, eyes... but everything was beautiful.

Re: Under Pressure
David Bowie alone is spectacular, but GAD added to the mix, or solo, is completely over the top! Gail is more than dynamic, she is a force of nature, transforming fully regardless of the music she is performing. If you haven't fallen in love with this talented woman you might want to check her other...
