Oh my golly Ray!
This pattern and the bleached starling are unbelievable! I can imagine the hot spot shining thru the starling fibers softly veiling the spot and the underbody! Is there no end to your creativity? We certainly hope not!

Re: Prairie Hen and Orange (Vintage Mustad)
Ray, No problem on the Prairie Hen! I checked with my local supplier recently who hunts these birds on his property out west. He did not make the trip this past season! He was complaining about heart trouble and arthritis and old age....I told him he'd better get out there soon and bring home the ba...

Izaak,
I like this one alot! The flat spooled cooper is really cool. I see a great future in this stuff as well as a run on it at our local fly shops. It did come from a shop didn't it? Maybe a craft store?

Re: Swimmy Squirrel
Rodger, Wow, dejavous all over again! That is one really cool looking pattern and one terrific hook! Ray's right! Very similar to the ol' Red Fox Sq. Hair Nymph pattern (Dave Whitlock's) that I like to tie! There is no reason that your pattern would not immediately start catching fish as soon as it'...

Tom,
It's electric! I really like this one! Nothing says regal like purple Pearsalls. You have done a good job in bringing together some awesome colors and textures for a fantastic looking pattern. I'll bet this one fishes well!!
Please keep us fed....we're hungry!

William, SWEEEET! I have been a fan of the "less is more" school for a while and your pattern is so dog-goned elegant with so little material. I think the difference is the quality tying involved in this exquisite pattern. Sooo well done Willam! I hope you don't mind if I just stare at it ...

Re: Tups Indescribable...my attempt
To my friends, Thank you one and all for the inquiries as to my photo's. The last couple of days have been a blurr with doing odd jobs and other things for others around me including both sets of parents. Therefore, I have not had much time in the den to do the photography and take up all the sugges...
