Re: Jack Sparrow

Hans,

This is a brilliant example of design skills. The tail and the tag are not in conflict but in perfect harmony. Beautiful fly.

Re: Polypropylene Line

Has anyone got their line yet? Some of you should have received it by now. I sent one to a guy in France and he got it a week ago. I am just wondering because nobody has mentioned it here or e-mailed me. Hi Mike, Did not get anything but I let you know when it will arrive. Same goes for me. dd

Ray,

Why don't you try this; "I can resist temptation, I can resist temptation - but I don't want to"?
It just might help...

Thank you, Hans.

Re: Amethyst Spider

Hans,
It will be most interesting to try its killing potential on grayling. I'm a believer.
What dye is used, if I may ask?

Re: For flymphs - the Mark Hidy way!

I am searching for an educated guess on what brand of hooks these are (see first post photo)? The only information on the box is "Stout wire wide gape hooks, size no 14". They are round wire, limerick bend, offset (or "reversed") and bronzed. Did I miss anything?. The flies come ...

He is an out of ordinary fellow, living a dream of his. On his blogg he wrote recently that building a small house for himsel...
