Bob I had the same epiphany a few weeks ago and said to myself I need to use some of this stuff. Sometime ago I offered material but no one took me up on it. Yet I still keep buying. :o

I found a seller and order my wings, specifying that the wings come from the same bird and that they be separated from each set. I offered them a reasonable price and that's how they came.

I have been using EG for years and sub it for other partridge or grouse. I find that the coloration matches bugs more closely than what is called for in the original pattern. Saying that I have both cock and hen along with poult feathers. There are several patterns that call for poult over adult.

I have an entire AO hide, red phase, they come in gray and red and like all animals there is many different shades of fur. I imagine that when they dyed they would dye the entire hide, probably several.
