Re: Flushed Wet
Yeh, he is supposed to, but Boris has always had a mind of his own... It was actually quite funny as his older companion - Caspar (now 13) floundered over to the scene of devastation, had a sniff and looked at Boris and sort of "grumpft" (as only older Cockers can do) at him in quite a dis...

Re: Flushed Wet

The scalp and neck feathers of pheasants and a number of some other birds are quite useful.. as you no doubt know! For instance...

Big terrstrial patterns yeh! Great fun to tie! I quite like the Turck's Turantula for a big hopper/cicada type terristrial pattern: http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd68/matuku/TurcksTurantula.jpg Or something big and foamy like: The Fat Albert http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd68/matuku/PB0900...

Nice to see others using rubber for hackles!!
I'll have to post pics of my NM (New Millienium) series Soft hackles ..... but a Pritt Pattern tied with rubber hackles just may not go down too well......

Re: French Partridge Wings
I like the French Partridge and use it quite a bit for various hackles both neck - throat and wing. The striped feathers along the sides of the bird are used in a Killer Style streamer pattern down here, the "Orange Witch"
