It is orange season in Florida and we do have a few huns running around. No trout freshwater trout to feed though.

I just saw this. Very cool. I'll have to give it a go. I have always used a knitting hook which is easy too.

This was a great tool fly or fished under a bobber (oops, I mean indicator) for winter steelhead in Eastern Oregon.

I did enjoy tying on these hooks. They are a bit stouter that the more common up eye models out there.

Working on a Pale Watery Dun pattern and playing with some Partridge L5A's that Lou gifted me. These are on #16's. One of my favorite wet flies. I’ve never understood why this was designed as a Caddis pattern. I’ve always used it more for mayfly hatches.
