Re: Hare´s lug & Plover

Thanks! This is just a quick setup where I put the flu on my fly tying table that is made of a glass top. And then a small simple led-lamp and a nice lens. I can send you a picture of it after but it is extremely simple. Neither your tying skills nor your photo skills has become worse. (Do you still...

Re: Pink Lady

Thanks Hank ;) :) for finding this, that is so interesting! The fly Craig Mathews ties really has the exact same colours, pink, amber/gold and tan thorax. The river me and Dima had this good fishing was the lower Ruby river. Below a few images. We really really need to get back :) :) 20140629-Montan...

Pink Lady

Re: Partridge and Blue. Mole colour effect

After this really nice discussion thread, one one my tasks the upcoming season will be to catch a nice trout on this blue fly. And provide you all with photo proof :D wish me luck... As a scientist in heart and on paper as well as a fly fisherman, I've come to learn over the years that we often over...

Re: Partridge and Blue. Mole colour effect

Thanks PhilA for this elaborate addition of knowledge and information. The deeper you dig the more you understand how little you know.
