Re: Partridge Bronze & Peacock (PBP) Tutorial

Ray, I can see the pictures this morning and they look fantastic! Thanks for taking the time to post this tutorial. What I like the most is the Sam Adams in the background! It may be the most essential item for tying flies at times.

Re: BWO

Ray that is natural mole and it is blended with UV ice dubbing and hare's ear. I wanted to use my Clark's dubbing block and it is something I plan on using a lot more. It didn't take as long as I thought it would to make up a few prespun bodies. Roadkill I have several flies with a silk tag, those a...

The hook is a #17, hackle is blue dunn hen hackle, the body is a blend I make using primarily mole ...

Re: baetis

Dana,

The hook is a Paxipa hook and a friend of mine gave me those after visiting Japan. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find more of them and I am down to my last 4. The feathers I use are from the leading wing edge/covert.

Re: Where have all the Soft Hackle Tiers gone?

Ray, Those Youtube videos you posted are an excellent resource for anyone that is interested in Skagit type casting with either a single or double handed rod. I have reached a point in my fishing where I want to catch fish on soft hackle flies while swinging them on a two handed rod. I like the Comm...
