I am looking for some practical advise on long rods. I have looked at two different switch rods, TFO and Beaule (sic) rods both about 11ft. I'm with you on this Hans, I like to use both Ostrich and Emu to give that life like appearance. I also like to use loosely dubbed, touch dubbed, fur like Mole and Hare.

I have one of the Rite Bobbin and the one I have will not fit Pearsall's. I have been using a Wasatch ceramic and a Materelli they both handle the silk well.

For my emergers, midges and nymphs I use the CF boxes for my drys I use 16 compartment DeWitt boxes that I have had for thirty years. I also have a some small four and six section boxes that I use on occasion.
