Re: The Dark Watch

Man, you and our dear departed friend, Alan Petrucci, make purple look good . ...too bad it's still purple. Alan dared me to tie a purple fly for him, so I did. I told him it would never work. He promptly went out and caught a fish with it. I've been trying to catch a fish on purple my entire life! ...

Re: Plover & Yellow; Does the Hook Change the Look?

I am intrigued by the upturned eye hook. Why do you hate the 200R? I rather like it. Lol, you've got the wrong guy. Wayne loves the 200R. It's ME ! I hate the 200R with a heat that burns with the fire of a thousand suns. Why? ...why does the moon chase the sun? It's an inherent part of my tying DNA...

Ha! ...gawd, I hated Devo.

Okay, so how many bad 80's musical references can we find? I'm thinking Ian Drury and the Blockheads might turn up... (hit me with your rhythm stick).

Re: UV

I have read the books mentioned by roadkill plus THE NEW SCIENTIFIC ANGLING TROUT AND ULTRAVIOLET VISION by Reed Curry. Very interesting subject but I don’t think we will ever know for sure the effectiveness or non effectiveness of UV materials. Lou I met Reed several times, interesting fellow. Las...
