What a Saturday morning treat. Posts by Mike. Good to see you, Mike, I've missed your highly informative posts, but understand completely. Still, really nice to hear from you since I lost your e-mail addy in a computer crash.

Re: Fishing Knots - What do you use and why?
Ray,
I just started using the Duncan Loop exclusively this year. I like being able to have some room at the eye of the hook to allow the fly to be more animated in the water. Seems to work well for me.
That Davy Knot looks simple enough to tie in the dark.

Hey Mark,
How are you and the Missus? You going to be in Albany, OR this spring? Nice ties by the way.

Donald,
Thank you, Sir. You are, indeed, a scholar and a gentleman. Much appreciated.

Donald,
If these articles are not included on your website, I'd fancy a look at them myself. I can always use a bit more information concerning the wee spiders.
Thank you,

Re: Old Master
Carl,
We may have met at Albany, but, to be honest, I meet a lot of people at that show. VEE and I will be tying there both days again this spring, be sure to stop by and say Hi, I'll try to do the same.

Re: wire woven nymph
Handsome flies for sure. Great post. Looking forward to seeing more. That woven wire Peter Ross is a thing of beauty.
