Re: Picric Dyed Soft Hackle

I had the same question when I read your post (as above). I think their are a few like me, and interested in Picric Acid . Mike C often spoke highly of the P C color. Best John

Re: Copper Core Alpine Spider

I agree with you fellows, fine looking fly and I'll bet a good performer. I think under a Bob fly with hesitation the fly would look like a emerge. Best John

Re: Stripping Peacock Herl....

Thanks for the help, I have tried (Pencil eraser, back of a single edged razor blade, your thumb nail.)which none of them strikes my fancy. The wax idea sounds like it might be practicable, I really like quill bodied flies with the segmentation with the two tone quality in the body. Thanks again John

Re: head cement

Hi Everyone
On fresh water flies I just use wax on about the last two inches of silk. On salt flies I use a product called Hard as Hull.

Re: a couple more flymphs

Hi their I agree with the above comments. I think your flies are very well tied and i also think you have a great attitude . Don't forget tying is the other part of fly fishing. :D Regards John Dunn

Re: Polypropylene Line

Has anyone got their line yet? Some of you should have received it by now. I sent one to a guy in France and he got it a week ago. I am just wondering because nobody has mentioned it here or e-mailed me. Hi Mike, Did not get anything but I let you know when it will arrive. Same goes for me. -------...
