Gentlemen, I have been mining in my CD collection again, in answer to Hankaye's preference for diagrammatic instruction. There are quite a few articles on Spiders I have "saved" ;) over the years. Drop me a PM if you are interested. Would be great if you would let a newbie like me to have...

Lovely body! Have to try that out. Bought some hen-hackle from Flytying boutique yesterday, furnace/Grenwell. Looking forward to get that.

Read 1/3 of it on a flight today. Great reading! Puts the history and development of soft hackle, wet and nymph flies in context (for a newbie like me at least).

Seems I bought the right book! Got McGee's book a week ago together with two of Nemes books. Reading Hughes book now and have only flipped through the others. They all look great.
