Re: Soft Hackle Sulphur
Thanks for sending me the site and I have looked on there before but cannot find the hooks I have on their site. They came in a small plastic cylinder and have a Paxipa sticker on the side.

Re: Soft Hackle Sulphur
The hook is a Paxipa hook and are made in Japan. A friend of mine got them for me a few years ago when he visited Japan. Unfortunately, I don't have many left and have not been able to find them.

Re: Midge
Ray,
Those quills are dyed by a friend of mine and I believe he uses Rit dye. The photo I took is not the best photo but the quill is deep blue in color.

Re: Where have all the Soft Hackle Tiers gone?
Ray,
I should have included the link to his site. This is actually his new site:
https://www.rbmeiserflyfishing.com
You may have to cut and past this link to make it work. It has a great section on lines as well.

Re: Where have all the Soft Hackle Tiers gone?
Ray, Thanks for the reply and both rods were made by a friend of mine in Oregon (Bob Meiser) and they are great rods to use for swinging soft hackle flies and flymphs.
