More often then not when I tie up some yellow and partridges, I'll use the dannville's yellow nylon and most of the time I'll use a light color superfine dubbing for the thorax or no thorax at all. Also when I do smaller sizes sometimes I'll just add a clump of hackle fibers to the head of the fly. ...

The dubbing for the body has a lot of bright colors mixed in and then the thorax is very bright so it's definitely a hot spotter. I have used different hooks for this fly but I always use a hook with a longish shank. I have no clue what mr trout thinks he is eating when he goes for this fly, but wha...
