Re: Soft Hackle Patterns for Madison & Firehole

Well, that's an intriguing pattern! I agree with Doug's reference to the Stewart DNA that runs through it. It reminds me of all the girls from the 80's; classic beauty, but with big hair.

Re: Safe Material Storage

Lol, I was wondering how long it would take you to focus in on those hooks! They're like, snecky on steroids...

All these years..., and I still can't tie a slip wing worth a damn. That is a beautiful tie, sir.

I had no idea they had a fire! What a shame, I hope they can recover.

Re: Red Wine Kebari

Mike62, Howdy; Alan (brk trt) talked me into buying a Tiny Ten this year. I'm going use Roadkill's flies as a primer on Tenkara and spend the winter gearing up. Beautiful flies, Roadkill, beautiful. What is this Tiny Ten of which you speak??? Still being curious... hank Hi, Hank. It's a small strea...

What Dana said. I've got a bunch of the Gutterman's, too; looks very similar.

Re: Seta Bozzolo 24wt Silk Thread

If I don't get out of the kitchen soon, I'm going to need a corset. 'Cooking through the pandemic' isn't just an idea, it's become a bad habit.

Re: Attempts at Valsesiana style flies

I'm really digging this whole Valsesiana/Kebari thing you and William and Alan are putting down. Great inspiration. Thank you! Everybody should take a walk over to Alan's site and check out the kebari stuff he's been tying.
