Ray, Yes, that is a competition hook (Hanak) and I fish them in tandem. Sometimes I use the same fly and other times I vary the point fly. Thanks for reminding me, I forgot to mention the thread. It is olive Semperfli nano silk 18/0 (30 denier) and I heavily waxed it with Overton's wonder wax.

Another BWO fly. I made the body out of CDC and the hackle is dun hen. Hook is a mustard RU-94842 #18.
