Re: Team of flies but no droppers.
:?: :?: Ok - So what am I missing here?? I always fish two and three flies, and I never have the tangles everyone is mentioning in this thread. Anyone? Besides casting long leaders in many directions in strong winds, you just need to put a lot of tension on a furled leader butt pulling the hook out...

Re: Team of flies but no droppers.
I fish a 2 or 3 fly cast about 90% of the time and enjoy the results. As I stated before http://www.flymphforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7147&p=83342&hilit=Fishing+Tandem+Flies#p83342 this is a good book on the subject https://www.amazon.com/Fishing-Tandem-Flies-Tactics-Techniques/dp/0979...

Re: Electric Soft Hackle-a Steelhead flymph
 Steelhead may chase these lovely creations, and perhaps char would too. But I've a hunch the wild browns in my home water would head for their bolt holes if they saw one. ;) Bill I grant you those stay on the right coast Browns may shrink at the sight of one of these, but those tough ...

Electric Soft Hackle-a Steelhead flymph
Here is a fly style I posted back in 2010 with most of those old photos gone due to a change in the server. This is the original tie I created the night before the FFF 2010 NW Fly Tyers Expo. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1763/42924005742_7fd4e4e418.jpg IMGP3081 by William Lovelace , on Flickr Hook...

Re: PMD Flymph
Bill,
I have not fished it yet but hope to in about a week. I have no doubt it will work because the PMD Flymph I have used for years is essentially the same tie minus the tan thorax.

Ray,
I love the pattern!
Do the hi vis fiber splay back against the hackle in current or on a retrieve?

Re: P-body Dun Spider
I like it but I might add a couple of strands of krystal flash as a tail just to make it an upscale Woolly Worm.
