Went out to the freezer to get some buffalo ribs for dinner and found a large zip lock bag with black laced hen necks in yellow, orange, green and pink. Forgot I had them out there. The fly tying gods must be smiling on me. I'll be tying a few of thos, Hans.

I can see the whole fly just fine. Great dressing. Looks like it would work very well as a loch fly as well.

I've been using furled leaders for a couple of years now on my single hand rods. I make them out of mono thread and Uni 6/0 thread. I have one mono leader that I've been using for three years with no sign of wear. I use tippet rings to attach tippet to the furled leaders. No hinging effect and great...

I've been admiring your produce bag flies, Hans. I'm ashamed to admit that all the bags I've seen locally are the welded type that are useless for fly dressing. Guess we're just gonna have to move to a classier area.
