Wayne... i've seen a couple vids of midges in the water and from stomach samples... I'm guessing the fish don't discriminate. I've caught plenty fish on curved Zebra midges, with silver beads :o so what does the fish think of that shiny head... I've not fished midge larva often enough out here, even though I know that is a major food source here in the winter as elsewhere. I am upping my game by working on adding more color to some of my midges and really like the tequilla sunrise and those with the blue perdigon body and red hot spot you've shared.

Ron, I do like a tiny Zebra Midge. Curved hook. 😉
