I would say that I am inept, before saying either pattern was "rubbish".

I still have a half dozen of each pattern in my arsenal. I bet they produce during caddis season.

I know you were teasing, but it never fails. When I brag on a technique or pattern, I usually have to eat crow when I try prove the worth of either. :)
