I started fishing at 8:30AM. I stopped taking photos at 9:30 AM. Very good day. Lots of quality fish (16 to 20+inches). Many, many small trout. I cant wait till the fishing gets good.

All trout today were taken by Polish/Czech nymping till noon. Under an indicator after lunch.

I'm tired, but happy.

I'm smiling ear to ear! Good for you Wayne. :D ;)

Careful, you might wear that hat out early in the season...(humor)

Well done with all that water going down there.
It looks a difficult but thoroughly enjoyable proposition to fish.

Thank you. We have had unseasonably cold weather for the past few weeks. It has postponed the run-off. This river is running at 650cfs. I am hoping that when I fish it again in a few weeks, it will be flowing at 1500 cfs. With the record amounts of snow fall we received this past Winter, it should be a stellar year for water and trout.

Hank and Ray, thank you for the kind words. It was a fund day yesterday.

Thank you Bill. After I lost the two Soft Hackle variations of your pattern, I put this on. I did very well with it in the afternoon. Tan ostrich herl, and this particular river always go good together in the Spring.

3x tippet, and size 8 flies. :-)
