well yes it kinda does look like a green hares ear

but they called it a green drake in the book "fly patterns of umpqua feather merchants. who am i to argue :D i just followed the recipe

if its a roy palm pattern he would know of the bugs in the frying pan and roaring fork

In my experience, the green drake pattern should be more grey. I like his biot pattern, its been a standard for me the past three years.
