Old meets new Sz 16 partridge and orange inspired nymph First time I used Semperfli Spyder thread. I love this thread, thin, plenty strong and lots of bite for mounting materials.

Karsten - That is a marvelous pattern. Absolutely beautiful, and highly fishable. Nice photos too (understatement).

I'll second what Ray said. Your seal dubbing blend reminds me some of Carl's recent "spectral" nymph.

The dubbing blend is a mixture of primarily brown, red, orange, yellow, black and olive. It's called for on an old Aussie nymph pattern I like to tie and use, very buggy and simple to tie once u work out how to tame/manage seals fur
