Found this on a U.K. site. The kind of fly you fish in the rocks without a second thought; takes about 5 minutes to tie, less if you don't care about being neat.
hook - Mustad 9671 #8
underbody - .025 non-tox
thread - Danville 6/0 brown
rib - small wire gold
tail/abdomen - peacock herl
thorax - ostrich herl yellow
hackle - Indian hen
bead - 4mm gold

Holy Cow Scott! This one is beautiful! Rather buggy looking too! The yellow ostrich herl "shinning" thru the India hackle leaves a very big impression upon me and also the fish it encounters! It is very well done as always Scott! Also, you peacock body work is to die for!!
Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.
Nice. I use this with a dark olive ostrich herl thorax and a copper TBead. Works well...
