A great looking ruffle pattern. Is there a recipe for it?

Thanks for sharing & inspiration.

Out of curiosity, have you fished this one much? If so, is it better to fish this one as a dropper, or as a single. I'm thinking this would be an excellent point fly, trailed off the bend of a heavier nymph.
