I still tie and fish a few buckskin patterns and believe the chamois gives the fish something to chew on.
After a few fish, they get stanked and slimed like the real thing :twisted: ... synthetics don't do that.
The downside is they do not dry well and there will be some rusty hooks but it's a small price.

I dont give them a chance to chew. I set the hook like a bass master before they know what hit them.
