Wood's Debutante Softhackle SBS

Very simple tie; change colors/sizes to suit your needs.

hook - Dai Riki 075 #10
thread - MFC 8/0 sand
rib - small wire copper
flash - Krystal Flash pearl
tail/abdomen - marabou tan
thorax - peacock herl
hackle - hen pheasant


mash barb, start thread, tie in rib, wrap to bend

tie in KF, double over and wrap to bend

measure (gap width past bend) some marabou fibers; tie in, wrap butts to 2/3 mark, tie off/trim

counterwrap rib, helicopter end, cover with thread, trim KF

tie in peacock, wrap to 1 eye width back from eye, tie off/trim

wrap, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN

Magnificent! What a gorgeous fishing pattern. The pheasant hackle goes so nicely with the marabou tail/body.
