I just thought I'd share this. I tied it this morning. I need better lighting.
Hook: TMC 3761 #10
Thread: Black 6/0 black
Tail: Golden pheasant
Body: Danville's 4 strand rayon in black, I used 2 strands.
Rib: Medium silver oval tinsel
Hackle: Black hen
Wings: Primary feathers from a mallard.

Thanks guys. I have Ray Bergman's book, Trout and also the book, Forgotten Flies that has his flies in bigger photos. My plan is to learn as many as I can, or want.

Those are two great books. Forgotten Flies still holds my personal record for the most I’ve ever spent on a book ($300 bucks). Though I was crazy, but I’m glad I bought it. Simply amazing.

I'd say Norm can be called Kilts Jr.
