Tail and back- Bronze mallard
Body- Hare's ear ice dub
Rib - gold wire
Wing- Hen CDL neck feathers
Hackle- Hen CDL

Mike, excellent!

The other day I was just looking at some photos online of CDL hen capes and wondering if the are soft enough to use on soft hackle patterns. They definitely have some awesome colorations.

Now I have to try to acquire a CDL hen cape to try. :D

They are great. Awesome coloring and soft enough for wets. I use them quite a bit.

Well done Mike!

I tie a lot with CDL cock saddle fibers, but haven't tried a hen yet.

These would work anywhere. Think about joining the Secret Santa Swap.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
