Thread – Black
Tail – Orange hackle fibers
Body - Yellow and dark olive variegated chenille, sizes medium or small
Ribbing – Flat gold tinsel
Beard - Orange hackle fibers
Wing - Wood duck dyed mallard flank feather, tied flat, reaching to end of tail

really nice... I don't often fish winged wets.. but these I may have to try. Another I have tied and used is Preston Jenning's Stonefly Creeper... pretty similar fly to these.

In my next life I want to come back and be able to tie wings like Norm does.

Seems like a similar idea to the Wood Special and Joe's Smelt.

Let me guess -- it's a Maine pattern?
