Hook - TMC 2302, size 12-16
Thread - Black
Tail - Golden pheasant crest
Ribbing - Copper wire
Abdomen - Peacock herl
Thorax - Peacock herl, thicker than the abdomen
Wing - White over brown calf tail
Collar - Coachman brown hen hackle

I can easily see this fly coming to a fly box near me.

I like the idea of a thicker thorax with the herl. Never thought of that before. And the body shape going along the hook is excellent.

I am very inspired by this fly and I believe I have everything but the hook to tie a few. I gotta check my hook supply and see.

Oh wow! That's a handsome dressing.

I can't get over how glossy/glassy your white calf tail hair is. Probably the finest quality I've scene.
