March Brown from the John Shaner fly wallet

I fell in love with the brown partridge winged March brown from the Shaner fly wallet post so I recreated a few for my box. Such a simple wing but deadly looking fly. I did the first one with hot orange Pearsall's but figured it was kind of pointless so I just did the others with orange thread. Hope yall dig it!

That's a great looking fly. The orange just pops out on it.
It surely is a fly I need to start tying and putting in my fly wallet.

Nothing wrong with this one! Thread choice is spot on! I think the general build of the pattern is great especially the body work! Yea, this one will do just fine! I think John will be proud of this!

@ flyfishermann you can find the fly wallet in the wingless wets section. It's a few down from the top and is called something like "north country spiders (John Shaner fly wallet)"
