Thread - Black
Tag - Oval gold tinsel
Tail - Goose quill fibers
Ribbing - Oval gold tinsel
Body - Blue floss
Wing - Eurasian jay wing feathers
Collar - Blue hen hackle

That is beautiful. I didn't know we were allowed to tie with jay feathers. I have jays at my house by the dozens because I feed them peanuts. If the cat catches one I know what I'm gonna do.

we are only allowed to tie with "eurasian jay" feathers as stated in the recipe

american "Blue jay" feathers are protected birds and not allowed to use or possess
