Fontinalis
Winged Wet Fly
Tail - Married strips of orange, black and white, repeated twice*
Body - Alternating bands of orange and gray wool
Hackle - Dun
Wing - Orange with 2 fibers of black and white married over the top
*I did not repeat the tailing sequence

I've always loved the look of this fly. Don't know why, it just strikes a chord with me. You've lost nothing by not repeating the tail sequence, in fact it looks much neater and cleaner this way. Beautiful dressing as always, Norm.

Imagine the tiers conclave with Norm hunched over his vise, and gassing away with Ray Bergman and Mary Orvis Marbury... great fun. My money is on Norm.
