Giancarlo's Emerging Bridge Mayfly

Another neat pattern from Italy; interesting incorporation of an Iris-like wing. Playing around with a few different materials and colors from the original. Tied as a green drake here; change colors/size to suit your needs. Surprised how light the wing looks on camera; it's a lot darker in hand (will switch to black next time). Here's his vid

hook - Dai Riki 280 #12
thread - MFC 8/0 dark olive
tail - partridge dyed golden olive
rib - Danville Flymaster Plus yellow
abdomen - turkey wing quill olive
wingcase - 2mm foam dark brown
hackle - partridge dyed golden olive
thorax- dubbing olive
wing - Congo Hair baitfish grey

Very interesting tye. Even has it's collar turned up to help it keep warm. ;)
