Not sure if this is an after effect of Fukishima on the local hatches or something out of a Herter's catalogue.


hook - Mustad 3906 #8
thread - Danville 6/0 black
tail - woodduck flank
rib - oval tinsel gold
body - red fox
hackle - hen dun/brown
wing - barred woodduck flank (mine's a bit meatier than Mr. Sawada but that's where the sweet spot was on the feathers I had available).
