Gordons and Hendricksons

Post by Old Hat » Fri Oct 11, 2019 8:28 pm

Filling an order for some Quill Gordons and Dark Hendrickson wets. Been a while since I tied some of these. Enjoying it though. I broke from tying and took some photos. Thought I would share.

I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Beautiful flies. I can tie Woodduck wings on dries without too much trouble but I still can't do much with them on wets. I'm not sure why. They either come out to sparse or wrong length or something. lol Need more practice I guess. Good excuse to sit and tie flies, right.

I stole the word "Wow!" from Ron in the other thread but it's appropriate here as well. "Wow!"

Hey thanks guys! I appreciate all the kind words. I don't tie these often and it had been a while since I worked some out. I tied a bunch but enjoyed it.
