Elegant! That's a fitting word for both of those flies, finely crafted, flowing elements on a gracefully curved hook. Beautiful fish deserve a beautiful fly, you rang that bell with both flies.

The blue dun feather you have for the wing: what type of bird did that come from? It would work perfect for the SKUES style nymphs, in a bit of a smaller size. Rooster, or is it a hen neck?

The marabou spey uses a whiting streamer rooster cape. The other is a whiting 4b hen cape
