Recently, I came across an old wooden spool of Pearsall's that still had the labels on the spool and it said "Pearsall's RAYON Fly Tying' on one label and "Made in England" of the other side's label. Now I've seen cards of Pearsall Embroidery rayon threads but never saw a Pearsall Rayon thread on a spool, much less an old wooden spool. Anyone seen these before?

Skues had one nymph pattern that used artificial silk which I assumes refers to rayon.
