And what is the first thing we see on this site? Mike Hogue's cheap knockoff of William's quality Clark blocks  .

Bill,

I am sure William appreciates your loyalty and freindship, but no one has the market cornered on most fly tying materials or tools, not even Clark dubbing blocks. I have seen websites that show you how to make your own.

I have a friend I recently gave him William's email address to order a Clark block from William and he told me this morning in an email he has not received a reply.

I have seen PhilA's Clark dubbing block he bought from William. William's Clark dubbing block is almost a piece of art. The other guys looks like a block of wood. There is a big difference between the two, buyer's choice.

A good reason to contact Mike Hogue. To be honest, I don't even know if William is still making blocks.

Bill,

I chatted with William via Instagram. He is going to have one for my friend. So he will get William's awesome Clark dubbing block.

I am still using my knee. :D

I love William's blocks, but I started on my knee and still prefer it. Just less stuff to work around. But then you almost need a specific pair of tying pants (wax knee). :D

"Dun dyed starling". Intriguing.
