You’re an inspiration Bill...always.
I find myself copying your creations, again and again. A vertical bobbin holder looks to be my next project ...
Thanks Buddy.

I ordered a set from Morus to try out and compare to my thin supply of Pearsall’s gossamer. Just heard this am after ordering about 3 weeks ago:
Hi Kevin,
I am pleased to inform you that your Morus order 1861 is despatching today.
Hope you enjoy your silk.
Kind regards
Paula
So figure another couple of weeks always slow from England. I’ll post a review and pics.

Kevin,
I appreciate the update and anticipate many here are looking forward to your review, comments, and side-by-side pictures of these spools of silk and whatever colors of Pearsall's Gossamer you have acquired.

In the primrose lineup the Morus is the center, I should have kept better track of which was which on the hot orange and dark claret (pretty indistinguishable I think in any event) and you can see the Morus brown is a bit shinier than the Pearsall’s.

Kevin,
Like others, I've been waiting to see these photos! I agree with your assessment; side-by-side they look interchangeable. Especially when you consider you're comparing new Morus silk to Pearsall's silk that could be 5 years old, but could also be 30 years old. Looking forward to seeing some flies for comparison.
Also hoping you can post a picture of all your other spools of Morus silks, even without the same colors from Pearsall's.

Found I had a Pearsall’s 5 lemon yellow so added that, a pic of all the comps, and a pic just of the Morus silks.
Looking for patterns for the antique orange (6C), ash (10) and sherry spinner (6B))
